GREAT RESTAURANTS IN CABO. We are always asked about this.
Check out Maro’s for great shrimp & lobster. You can’t beat the price at $17 and it is very good. Located up the street across from the Wyndham Hotel by the marina.
Baja Cantina at the Marina. Get your fresh caught fish cooked here. The Mango Tropical style is outrageously good. Also lemon pepper, blackened, alfredo, beer batter, and poblano. Ask for “Ismael” the manager and tell him “Winner 7″ sent you and they will treat you extra special. This is also located by the biggest yachts in the marina so you can get a look at them while you dine. This is also a great sports bar and has all the games.
Maria Corona, great Mexican and seafood. Located behind Squid Roe.
The Office. Right on Medano Beach (main Cabo Beach). Dine right on the beach sand. A must visit.
Sharkey’s is a small place but very good. Don’t let this place deceive you how it looks as it is small and has limited seating. Located two blocks up from Medano Beach.
Bahia Hotel right off the main beach and across from Sharkey’s.
Tiki Bar at the marina and next to Baja Cantina. Great sushi and American food like burgers, fries, and sandwiches.
Captain Tony’s at the marina. Great Mexican and seafood. A good place to take your catch to cook.
The Trailer Park. A longtime favorite that everyone hears about. Located north of town on the east side of main road between Cabo and San Jose. You will see the trailers from the road.
And don’t be afraid to try the local taco stands and hot dog wagons.
Forget about the familiar places like American pizza and fast food. It isn’t the same as back home anyway, so get out and try the local fare. It is great and one of the best things about coming to Cabo. “When in Rome…..” The taxi drivers know where all these places are.
Order the Mexican food or the seafood. It is great. Stay away from “American style” food. It is usually not what you think you will get. Ordering a steak will not be what you are looking for unless you go to Ruth’s Chris and that is very good. Located in the big Paraiso Mall in the center of town. Also Edith’s for steaks, but these two places are very pricey, but very good too. Edith’s is located one block up from Medano Beach between The Office and Sharkey’s.
Pancho’s for great Mexican and seafood. Locate up the street from the Wyndham Hotel across from Maro’s.
La Dulce next to Pancho’s. Mexican and seafood.
Romeo y Julieta at the marina road curve by the Wyndham Hotel. The best Italian in town.
Order the Mexican or the seafood at any restaurant and you can’t go wrong.
